THIS thread was started BY her .....I have no idea what thread she is referring to in her opening post and I don't care. I don't care how old or young she is either...the fact remains that, if you are old enough to write or state an opinion then you should be young or old enough to put up with someone disagreeing with it AND young enough/old enough to ignore someone who makes comments about your age

Hi there - I actually came onto this site in order to ask a question - but have been completely sidetracked by some massive debate about a dog fight that happened a day or two ago. I don't know any of you guys in here at all, but feel a tad protective of ice queen...I think that to blame a person's age for his/her point of view is a terribly patronising argument to take, reflecting badly on the attacker who makes the point, rather than she for who it is intended - especially as what ice queen was saying was not at all reflecting her age, but just her difference of opinion.  Surely everyone's allowed an opinion in this forum - isn't that the point? Also, surely one is not only allowed to express his/her opinion, but also to express it in whatever way he/she chooses? There should be none of this -"watch the way you phrase things" to people, everyone is different and therefore will - and should - respond in different ways to how you, or I might. By the by, I know nothing of everyone's background here - but you all seem massively knowledgable about your subject! But I must say, as an outsider, I wouldn't want to put myself on the line by asking a question in this forum...

everyone seems to be sticking up for ice queen on here at the moment. I am the mother of a child not much younger than ice queen and if my child had posted such comments on a forum he would of been in a lot of trouble. There are ways of getting your point across without being out right rude and nasty. Reading ice queens posts you would not of thought she was a 17 year old, if she wishes to be post strong opinions she has to understand that other pople are going to have opinions that do not agree with hers.

,mmmm I agree with the message above, ice queen is 17 years old so very much accountable for her own words. 
Anyway, lets drop the topic and move onto something far more important.....   :) xx
