I bought one a week ago and did my normal, instructions na don't need them, throw them in the bin and decide how to make it work myself :D
Well I have failed miserably and it is on the wall set an puffing every 36 mins and hasn't even done one puff yet
Any suggestions ?
I switched it to off, put the canister in, switched it on the 36 mins and hung it up. So where did I go wrong : :D

Switch it to the 'on' position.
Check the battery is the correct way up.
Check that the battery is 'alive'.
Take the canister out and press the top to make sure there isn't a blockage.
If the above do not work - take it back to the shop.

Done all of steps 1 to 3 and just handed it to husband and he has said why I hadn't moved the red thingy in the unit

I sort of thought that may have something to do with it then he has just shown me the clear instructions inside the unit ! Ok I am an idiot and didn't bother to take time to sort it out properly ! :D

Lucy I have one in my grooming room and I think it is quite nice. We have them at work and they are great that is what attracted me to them. I only bought one to make sure I liked it before buying one for the Loo..

We have one, supposed to be lavender scented but it reminds me of Savlon or hospitals or something!

I got one a couple of weeks ago, I actually got two, as Tesco's were doing a 2 for 1 offer. It smells really nice, but don't keep it on for too long in the kitchen as it makes my dogs sneeze.

I have Freesia and Jasmine, in the green cannister.........it smells lovely!

Oh I missed the Tesco offer :-(( I like my bargains. :-)

How much are they individually to start with?

I paid £9.99 for mine in Tescos.

Blimey thats a lot!

I paid £7.99 in Asda Walmart

Wilkinsons did sell them at £9.99 when they first came out but they are now down to £6.99

I paid £6.99 for two at Tesco's a few weeks ago, they were the only ones there though and I've not seen them since!
They sound like a great idea, I've thought of getting one to try - but isn't it a case of puffing chemicals into the air? Is it really healthy? Just wondering!

Never fancied them myself :( Too many chemicals around without them. Wouldn't want young children breathing that in.

I agree, all air freshners and most things that are scented make both me and my dogs sneeze, so I decided to try and keep them to a minimum and got a combined steam and vaccuum cleaner, for once I can vaccum without constaintly sneezing my head off (unless I put their fragrance in the water). Only trouble is Im not normally vey house proud (who can be with 2 Labs?) and since I got the new toy I keep finding things to clean with it. Im embarassed to say that the latest was the sofas and I think I got half a dog out of them :embarassed:
They have gone up again to £9.99 at Wilkinsons.

The battery that came with mine was no good so i put another in ..and it works ok I put it in the kitchen and i'm sure this things aims for me it waits till i walk past then gets me everytime......
I only have mine on occasionally but with 4 dogs in the house I need it :d Don't want friends saying that the place stinks!

When we had pups back in January, a couple of the new owners actually got 'shot' by the air freshener!! So I've had to move it up higher, it does take a bit of getting used to the noise it makes. My Rosie was fast asleep in the living room after being spayed when the air freshener shot a spray and she nearly went through the roof! Made me jump too..........lol.
