but theres no need to treat me like I'm stupid, irrisponsible and worthless.

Just thought I would share
- By EMMA DANBURY [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:17 UTC
Sorry your feeling like that ((hug))
- By liberty Date 30.03.05 14:20 UTC
Whats up? I for one certainly wouldn't say you are any of those things! Chin up :)

liberty :D
- By michelled [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:24 UTC
why do you think that is? because youve been attacking others, putting words into their mouths, incorrectly.
yes that would probaly do it.
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:41 UTC
Ice queen

The tone you have been taking with people is totally over the top!

Everyone has their own opinion but you shouldn't try and ram it down everyone elses throat! You get peoples back up.

Everyone had their own way of doing things and you have to respect others opinions without getting the hump and swearing at us!!!

Yesterday you had the hard b*** attitude!!! You have to live with the consquences of your actions..
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:45 UTC
Oh and can I also add that no one said that you were Stupid, irresponsible or worthless so you don't need to go there!

If you give it, then Im afraid that you have to learn to take it.
- By saffie [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:51 UTC
Only the otherday was I talking to a friend about how people don't like people who tell it how it is.  I would quite happily say what I have said to anyone as I don't feel what I've said is wrong.  You may disagree, but at the end of the day, I don't give a &*%$
ice queen if youre not bothered what people think (see above qoute) why post a complaint saying people think that you are all them thinks like blondiflops says if you cant take it dont give it out!!  (qoute at the top is one of ice queens qoutes from a post yesterday) just thought id make that bit clear.
- By michelled [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:53 UTC
putting words in our mouths again,i suppose.
- By Smurggle [gb] Date 30.03.05 14:53 UTC
Just out of interest, how old are you?

Sarah
- By shelly [ie] Date 30.03.05 14:59 UTC

- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:04 UTC
Who on earth is having a go, Roxanne???   I can see that someone is rattling your cage - and I don't think that there is any need for that!!!

I havent noticed a "bad attitude" on your part - but it certainly is there with other people!

I always think that you are maturing into a remarkable young woman - you can stribg words together, and you do know what you are talking about!  (But that in itself can upset some people ;)

Just remember - nil carborundum illegitimae !!!

Margot
- By michelled [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:08 UTC
im sorry margot, but shes been really off for the last two days. & she dosent know everything about everything . she may know her aussies & her showing etc,i know shes only young & at her age thinks shes knows it all,but she needs to listen sometimes. to herself & others.
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:08 UTC
No one is having a go at her, her opinions weren't agreed with thats all...

In the adult world you have to be abit thicker skinned especially if your going to give it out!!

You can't start swearing have an attitude and then put on the little girl act...Im sorry but if you talk like an adult you will be responded to like an adult..she is being responded to like an equal not as a child, she should take that as a compliment...
- By Carla Date 30.03.05 15:10 UTC
Personal attacks are not allowed - you're going to get yourself banned if you're not careful! Can you not just sort it out privately?? :)
- By michelled [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:15 UTC
nobody is attacking roxanne, shes attacking us!!!! nobody said any of the above things? she knows that!
- By michelled [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:13 UTC
& she seems out to cause alot of trouble of late,
she seems to have tota;lly changed from someone with good arguements & ideas to someone who is out to insult anyone with a alternative idea,im sorry but thats not on,especially when shes implying & saying things that arent true & saying that people have stated things when they havent.
- By jmo [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:17 UTC
I am sure that everyone can make their own minds up re the posts but surely you are all taking things a little too far, this is a young lady folks, not sure of her exact age, but surely the "adults" can get their points across without resorting to personal attacks.
- By jmo [gb] Date 30.03.05 15:03 UTC
Give the kid a chance, she could have been having an off day or anything.  Ice Queen you have been rather opiniated as of late but then again can-t we all!!!!  Lets all start afresh!!!

Sorry just realised how patronising that sounds, give the young lady a chance : )
- By BorderCollieLvr [gb] Date 30.03.05 17:37 UTC
Im also young you didnt come across as young to me but more of a i know it all adult. I must admit i can be a bit quick and not think before i type at times, i think everyone does it. Just try and think before you type that why it upsets less people.
- By LJS Date 30.03.05 17:38 UTC
From what I have been observing from afar  I think that the best option is put put this all behind and start again and just let bygones be bygones :)

I think that words have been said that have caused upset. I don't think anybody is to blame or there is a right or wrong answer as as far as I can see they were opinions :)

Life is too flippin short to have these sort of fallings out  ;)  :)

(only kidding shelly)
- By digger [gb] Date 30.03.05 22:34 UTC
What did I come in for???.........  ;)
- By rose [au] Date 31.03.05 00:25 UTC
Youv'e got my back up a bit in the past Rox,it makes me even more angry knowing that you are so young and think you can speak to adults or infact anyone the way you do! I thought i knew it all when i was your age,i'm sure most of us did :D

We all annoy others sometimes, but your posts have  an air of smart arseness about them :(

I dont know why you started this thread, you have just drawn more attention to yourself :(

Anyway move on,forget about, but remember, if you are going to give it out you must be prepared to take it :)

Are you referring to the 'staffy' thread?
- By Carla Date 31.03.05 16:01 UTC
If you didn't know she is young, how could she know you are an adult? :)
- By TracyL [gb] Date 31.03.05 15:12 UTC
lol at digger :), just what I was thinking!
I think we can all admit to pressing the send button a little too quickly sometimes. Lost count of the times I've typed out a message then read it through and decided not to post it.
No offence meant - (or taken ;))
- By Izzi [im] Date 31.03.05 02:08 UTC
Errrmmm Ice_queen, I am 13, and I don't post boards like this! Be patient, if people want to listen to you they will, and if they don't, well that is up to them, and I think that you need to acept that, because it will happen alot in later life!
- By sarstaff [gb] Date 31.03.05 16:59 UTC
If your old enough to dish it out then And you certainly do dish it out, then your old enough to take it, you cant all of a sudden when things arent going your way pull out the '' im only young '' card  !!
- By genie [gb] Date 31.03.05 21:58 UTC
ice queen...your point being?  You would do well to read and learn from this forum rather than attempting to hand out advise.  Unless you have years of experience behind you with regard to dog training and behaviour ( and I mean years ) then you really don't have any buisiness advising people about their problems with off lead dog attacks. Your response to that initial post by Blondiflops demonstrates your complete lack of experience and understanding of not only standard responsible dog ownership, but also of dog behaviour and owner ettiquette.

I would like to think that these sorts of forums, in an ideal world, are based on faith...that the person giving advise does so to the very best of their personal experience and knowledge and refrains from commenting on things they know much less about.  Likewise, that people seeking advise can be assured that responses posted are from people genuinely wanting to help and who have experience in any particular matter.

Unfortunately the internet isn't in an ideal world...indeed, it isn't even a ' real world '...

so buyer beware !
- By Daisy [gb] Date 31.03.05 22:07 UTC
Genie, I don't think that you have been around long enough on this forum to make any kind of judgement about ice queen :( She is only a young girl, who has perhaps just learnt a bit of a lesson in how hard it can be in the adult world. We have all been there at some time. I think that a lot of the comments on this thread were a bit harsh. The majority of members know her age and could have exercised more restraint rather than 'jumping on the bandwagon' to criticise :(

- By genie [gb] Date 31.03.05 22:15 UTC
hmmm....I thought it seemed like this forum was a silly jumped up one...full of cliquey people...

what on earth has the time I have been a member of this forum got to do with anything !!!??  Ermmm...and who's jumping on the bandwagon to criticise??

Goodness me - what a silly schoolgroundy forum.???..certainly seems to be rather full of children - dare I enquire as to how old you are !...no - don't bother I shan't be interested in a reply ! - how funny - ha ha !... think I've stumbled upon a duffer here..I'll leave you all to your little games..have fun kids....

bye.
- By Carla Date 31.03.05 22:25 UTC
 Nothing to do with cliques. As far as I am concerned this thread is nothing more than bullying a young girl. Personally, I think its bang out of order for folk to be publically attacking her like this.
- By sarstaff [gb] Date 31.03.05 22:48 UTC
I think we have all forgot about it now and moved on, but this thread was not intended to bully anyone and infact was started by the girl herself, what was the point of the new topic,( i might be young... )i was minding my own buisness until she drew atention to herself.
- By Carla Date 31.03.05 22:51 UTC
So why not just ignore her/the thread then? if she was my daughter being criticised like this I'd be on like a shot to defend her. Especially with folk seemingly just jumping on the bandwagon for the sake of it. She's YOUNG! :)
- By thomas-the-spot [gb] Date 01.04.05 05:51 UTC
Well said Chloe.  I have kept out of this until now but if you actually read the thread you will that Ice Queen was not the only one who was unpleasant although it seems to be forgotten it takes two to make and arguement.  Although she is young I dont know how young I believe in one of her replies to me she has got a lot of experience in the dog world as her whole family has and on the replies she has given me I have found her both helpful and pleasant.  The saying "let he who is without sin cast the first stone springs to mind".
- By jmo [gb] Date 01.04.05 10:01 UTC
What I worry about in all this, is the effect it may have had on Ice Queen, I don-t think I have seen her post for the last couple of days.  Where are you Ice Queen?
- By michelled [gb] Date 01.04.05 10:07 UTC
shes back on another post
- By ManxPat [im] Date 01.04.05 12:21 UTC
Well said Chloe!
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 01.04.05 12:24 UTC
Hear hear.
- By EMMA DANBURY [gb] Date 01.04.05 12:31 UTC
STOP!

Please agree to disagree, theres enough anger in the world and my office come to think of it.
- By maysea [gb] Date 01.04.05 12:39 UTC
WELL SAID EMMA ENOUGH IS ENOUGH DONT WANT MORE MEMBERS BEING DRIVEN AWAY.
- By sarstaff [gb] Date 01.04.05 12:58 UTC
No we dont want any members being driven away, lets leave it , its all got blown out of proportion.
- By Sarah Gorb [gb] Date 01.04.05 15:02 UTC
I have no idea how this battle started but I thought this site was about getting sound advise on our dogs, not a war of words...
Anyway, I need advise about Rottweilers, anyone own one on this thread?
