Has anyone else heard about the new safety rules on agilitynet??

Aparently, dogs are going to have to wear a safety helmet when going round the course so they don't knock their heads on the tyre, etc..

Isn't wearing a big bulky helmet more likely to MAKE them bang their heads?!

And apart from anything else, make them look stupid!!

And when was this information published ;)

Lol, Id think Id need the safety helmet more than the dog, maybe we could get matching helmets and knee pads. Lol

Im laughing with tears rolling down my cheeks with the thought of dog helmets

My dogs really have problems with the knee guards!

I cant hear the dog and the dog can hear me. Bliss for both of us.

There was an article in our local paper today about 11 foot alligators having been spotted in the River Nene at Northampton...quite scary at first, until the light dawned...
when it continued, " The giant alligators, which are believed to be wearing a pair of matching studded collars...." then "Traders have reported scurrying and snapping noises coming from the web of tunnels running under Northampon's Market Square..." I began to think there was something a bit fishy....sorry!

Brilliant!!  Well done agilitynet for having a sense of humour that is so often lacking in the dog world....

I'm glad I started a post on CD about it first and saved myself the embarrassment :)

And I'm quite shocked now that I actually believed it... Its the first time in years! dogs wearing helmets :d Although they did have a very convincing pic!
