Hello,
I am a groomer in a small town 40 miles from Palm Springs, Ca. Recently I aquired a new client whose young owner wants to take her to 4h shows and such. Could you tell me if the basics for the "show" grooming on a golden. The bulk of my grooming clientele are "pet" grooms and alot of summer shave downs. By looking at your picts. I can see that less is better. One thing, are the whiskers required to be scissored as in Akitas?

Any info will be appreciated,

Thank you

Hi Judy,
What you might want to do is look up some of the names of the 'local' breeders who show with Goldies and ask them about their grooming practices.
This site might help you get started in the right direction
