this is a question for Gwen. I was reading in an old copy of the american dog magazine "Dog News" that said dexter was going to be campaigned in the US. Did this ever happen? if so how did he do? just out of interest

Thanks for asking.  No he never went, it was all arranged for him to be leased for a year or two,  but when it came down to it, after his last Crufts, I could not bear to part with him.  It turned out to be a blessing that he did not go, as just acouple of months after Crufts his back problem occurred.  However he hs several children in the USA, and his Grandson Biggles went out last year and is showing with Linda & Mike Pitts.

I for one am very glad he didn't go,as I wouldn't have my Lily and Kitty if he had. Dexter is Granpa to both of them.
