Hi friends!
I need an advice for my 11 weeks westie. I give her 4 meals of canned food  and dry food daily from Pedigree junior diet and Eukanuba but sometimes she refuse to eat. It was told me that dogs don't get bored but if I change for example canned food with dry food (with water  added before feeding) she changes her mind and  eats the meal. But it's hard to be prepared every time for her option... What is the best attitude? How should I proceed?
Thank you so much.

i personally think that dry complete food is the best!! i was also told that dogs don't get bored of their food!! i found when i feed my dog on a meat/mixer diet his breath stank & his stool's were just mush! since feeding & complete food both problems have gone!!

Dogs clearly DO get bored of their food!

Couple a boring diet with the usual overfeeding/not enough exercise for food eaten, and its hardly surprising dogs go off their food.

If you are going to feed a boring diet, do NOT give in and give your dog anything else, or they will test you and see if you will give in each and every time.

Or, you could feed a less boring diet.... my dogs get a variety of foods each week, they never EVER leave food, or decide they dont want it, and ive turned a dog who was previously fussy as anything wouldnt touch any brand of dog food, into a dog who eats what is put in front of her the second thebowl hits the floor in a matter of just under a week!

I however, feed a raw diet, not everyone wants to, or can do this.
