You would have much more success in blood testing or smear testing during her season, to be able to be advised when to mate her at her optimum time. The Draminski has had mixed reviews and will not be easy to use by a novice.
We have used both blood and smear tests for optimum mating times and have been successful on both occasions.

There should be someone in your area with the necessary expertise to take the necessary samples. If you post details of your location, I'm sure someone in the same area will be able to give advice of a local expert.

If you've already had two large litters from her - do you think she's trying to tell you something?

I have been trying for the last 18 months since she had her last litter, I swim her twice a week to keep her fit, the puppies from her last litter of 11 have such fantastic temperaments I want to keep her line going, she has done very well in the show ring also, I have had great litters from her grandmother, her mother and her sister, she is also a great mother and the girl just loves to be mated --- what more can I say!!!!

I agree with you. Three litters for a healthy, maternal bitch should be no problem. It seems like you are doing the right things, good luck in your endeavours.

I agree also not in a nasty way but if she has had 2 large litters of approx 11 pups then she maybe has done her bit for the future.

I would use one of the daughters if she was a nice quality.  I would imagine you had kept something from the 2 litters.

This happen or don't happen for a reason I think :-)
