how many types of waggs do your dogs do.
flynn has got three distinct wags (& a few that are in between)
1.little wag,end of tail.-means hi ,im here, would like a cuddle, sometimes means im not sure i need reassurance
2. normal wag (side to side)-means-hi,im happy today, life is good
3. helicopter (tail goes round madly in a big circle,vertically)-means ,my god im so excited, life is great im going to burst but first im going to leap on you & give you a big snog!!!

My lot have only got little rudders so can't really tell what direction they are going, but they are always wagging so they must be happy.  CAZ

Bramble has very similar wags to Flynn :) But the number 3 - like a helicopter - usually means that 'I can't find my ball in this long grass - it must be somewhere - panic - panic'  :D :D

Tara would like to wag her tail - she really tries - but every wag looks the same as it's only tiny and is hidden under her coat :D So she wags her bum instead :D

leo has a very slow wag which usually means im not sure about you or am i allowed to do this? And then his hyper fast wag which is usually accompanied by a leam, snogs, a couple of chews of your hand and then you get a ball dropped at your feet to throw

Not really a wagging thing but Ronnie has a screw tail when he is happy it curls up, when he he nervous sad or has been told off it straightens up and is like the pump handle tail he is supposed to have!!!!! :D

Henry has 4 different types:-

1. The nervous wag - i.e if he knows he has done something wrong for example at a show if he sits crookedly at halt in heelwork, he looks up and wags the end of his tail as I think he knows he's sat wonky but is saying "look i'm still cute even tho i did it wrong mum, sorry, don't be upset with me"
2. The mad side to side wag - when he wants to play, he stands there with a toy in his mouth and wags like mad from side to side.
3. The chopper wag! - the big helicopter wag massive circles round and round followed by ears turned inside out and a big wet slobbery kiss.
4. The look at me wag - when he's trotting around the ring, tail goes right up and wags cos he's happy and is strutting his stuff!

Hook manages to fit in an extra wag, its the laid back wag. When he is asleep and hears his name mentioned he hits the floor with his tail a couple of times just to show he has heard. Only been doing this since he got older and it is a bit too much effort to get up and give a kiss and full wag!

Oh and Truffle has a 'Ive stolen something wag' which goes with a special walk, she seems to trot along on tip paw with tail and head held high and just the top moving. Strange but I can hear that trot anywhere in the house :)
