How do breeders come up with the names for the puppies when registering them. Poppy's registered name is sweatleaze sally, the house the breeder lived in was in sweetleaze, but if we ever had puppies we don't live anywhere that I would want to use the name.

One of the dogs My parents bred was roanjora corbies (sp) Roanjora is My parents KC affix and corbies is the red wine.  The litter was named after french wines, red for the boys and white for the girls.  Friends who have just had a litter, the theam was trees, one of your girls breeders always uses C (her affix begins with C)

It takes some thinking but we all manage it! :)

We have named our litter after deserts!  They are nearly all liver so we have gone for a chocolate theme.  The second and third litter were named after spring and summer because my first homebred one had winter in her name.

 Deserts, as in Sahara, or desserts, as in blancmange?
