Just heard on the news about Netty, a black labrador, who was feared dead after being swept into the sea by a freak wave off the Cornish coast on Feb 11th.
Her owners, who were on a short break in the area, spent days searching for her but had given up hope of finding her alive and returned to their home in Staffordshire.
Six weeks later the local postmistress found Netty tired and hungry but still wearing her collar with her owners name and address on. Although she was very thin her coat was said to be in immaculate condition.

Needless to say the reunion was mutually ecstatic :)

A very happy ending for them all.

Thats great news

I'm very glad she's safe and well, and I hope she gets on with the new puppy they bought to replace her.

Dogs are certainly amazing, after going through losing a dog for 2 weeks after a break-in and her finding her way to my parents they are wonderful.
