how long does it normally take to get an affix through, mine seems to be taking ages, its been weeks now, how long did members on here have to wait?

Time varies on anything to do with the KC as much depends on when certain Committees sit (although can't honestly remember now if Affix approval goes before a Committee :rolleyes:)

After the initial stages, however, proposed new Affixes have to be published in the KC Gazette in order for possible objections to be lodged.  Your best bet is to contact the KC direct and ask what stage your application has reached.
