My bitch is on day 11 now of her season and i have already missed one show last sunday and will be unable to attend another this Sunday, it's just bad luck.
The thing is, last season it was at least 6 weeks before her vulva returned to normal, and it was huge.
Has anyone shown a bitch who's bleeding had well ceased, but vulva was still very enlarged ?

Thanks, Sarah x

Yes, one of my girls is like that - stays large for a week or so after her season has finished. Also have a friend whose bitch is like that ALL the time!

As long as you know she's not going to distract other dogs by smell (being in season) it shouldn't be a porblem. There's no rule saying you can't show when a bitch is in season. Its just etiquette not to do it ;)
So if she's finished having a discharge and giving off a 'Come hither' scent ;)  It should be ok
