Hi all,

Having had a disaster with showing last year(I hated it not the dog) I have been inspired by your posts and would like to know if there are any ringcraft classes in my area(maidenhead) I am happy to travel. I think my problem was I went along without knowing anything or anyone, so new resolve to try again.

I've got details of a few in the area - not sure if they're any use to you as I don't really know the area very well (only lived here for 3.5 yrs :) )

Woodley (this is the one that I go to) Church Hall, South Lake Road, Woodley Wednesday evenings 7.30pm

There is one is Maidenhead itself but I haven't got the details on that one, it's in the Knowl Hill area. Why don't you phone the vets and ask them. They sometimes know.

The holyport one is table dogs only, I thought I could try the one you go to, do you just turn up or can you ring and put yourself on a list, also any directions from the A4 would be good.

Kim,
The ringcraft training sessions are weekly on a wednesday.
I know coz sometimes I attend with my Boxers.
The match night is only once a month.
The hall is fairly easy to find on the right handside off the A4.
Before the pub (is it the 7 stars or something??)
People there are fairly friendly & helpful, I think it's £1.50
per dog for ringcraft (it was for the match night)
