Hi would anyone have any info on a pink eye rim.the other one is lovely and black.she is from show stock but i don't know if i can show her ,also if she ever had any puppies would they be like this.if any one can help please that would be great.thanks

Hi There .Yes both eyerims should be black And yes you can show her as she is. But do not expect under a Breed Judge to do that well.You may get away with it under some all rounders But !!!!!!!!..You really need to go into her lines well and truly to see if pigment is a problem.And yes she could throw pups like that but on the other hand not.Nothing is guaranteed in the Dog Breeding stakes i am afraid. But if you do decide to breed from her please get her Hip-Scored and her eyes Tested.Hips are only done the once .But eyes should be done once a year.

I agree with all of what Crestie Queen says. But how old is your TT? And what colour is she? If its very young there may a be a good chance of the eye rim filling in black. this can happen also. If she is a pale colour it may not or it may just take time :)

Hi thankyou for your  message.you have been very helpful.My puppy is 11 weeks old but her eye is very pink ,i don't think it will change .she is very lovely white with a few parts sable.The breeder i got her from did'nt seem to mind about it,so i didn't either.some of her dogs go to crufts so i know her dogs are very good pedigree.thanks for your time.
