Ahh, that's brilliant, say well done to your daughter from me.  I meant to enter this show but forgot.  I'm terrible.  I wouldn't mind but the person judging imports seems to quite like the Spanish so I should have gone.

Well done, maybe next time she'll get BIS !!  Remember years ago the father of the Pom. that we are about to show won RBIS at Rossendale and the next time out at Rossendale he got BIS.  The judge was laughing her head off as she said that all her gundog friends would take the mickey out of her for putting a small fluffy breed best in show.  Are you going to Rossendale as this will be Mella's first Open Show, unless I find one beforehand.

Once again congratulations to your daughter and dog :d

Really well done I especially with a youngster handling just goes to show if the dog is good enough anything is achievable.

Well done.  Brillient news to hear that a youngster can take dogs to top awards.  A big well done to your daughter, a one in a million!

I do remember!

Very clearly this time was not :)  I am seeing more judges treating younger ones equaly.  They are relising the "next generation" is needed.  Although now out of being juniors I am trying to do something for them in both breeds I'm in (being junior representative) and jave got groups going for juniors to discuss matters.  Juniors are very big in america, and what is done for the juniors over their isn't thought about over here!

Don't give up....the dog in question was never so much as placed until he was 18 months old :d ...bit of an ugly duckling
