I'm looking for a good photo quality printer for a reasonable price.  Like the look of the Dell.  Any recommendations please.

try the Epson R200 or R300. The ink carts may look expensive, but it is possible to get non epson Ink carts for it at about £20 for a set of 6,

We have recently got the HP Photosmart 2610. It's a printer/copier/fax/scanner. It also has slots for camera memory cards. The print quality is good and it's very versatile :) Downside is that it's a bit on the large side (OK if you've got room). Costs from about £170.

I have the Epson CX6400, scanner/printer/copier has slots for all memory cards too, I use compatible ink cartridges and it's great!

I have a HP printer/copier/scanner.      The print quality is excelent but the cartridges are very expensive, even the ones that are not HP make.

I have had an Epson, it was the printer that came with the PC and I wouldn't have one again as it wouldn't take compatibles.  I now have a Canon S330 Photo & it's excellent, the compatibles cost between £2-£4 for b&w-colour.

I have a Dell one with scanner and fax all in- I have had nothing but trouble with it :(

I would stick with Hewlett packard if I get another :)

Its funny because we were just discussing printers because we want one for my daughters room.  There is one in the Sale at Argos for £49.99 instead of £99.99.  It is a Lexmark, anyone know anything about this make.  It is an all-in-one scanner and printer etc.  Its only for my daughters room so obviously don't want a very expensive one.

I only know one person who has a Lexmark and he absolutely detests it with a deep loathing. :(

Lexmark, you find the printers are fairly cheap, but ink cartridges are really expensive!

Lexmark -AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh
Sorry, we had one in work ....................how it never went through the window I don't know.

We have a HP one (printer/scanner/fax, etc) slots for memory cards, etc.  Quality is great and when our last model broke down because the ink had dried up (where we hadn't used it for ages) - they replaced it with the latest model (at the time) - fantastic!

I used a lexmark for a while as it wes free with a Dell computer - NEVER again! Expensive ink poor quality printing and an inability to feed through paper straight. Ill stikc with Epson thanks. Currently a CX6600

Seems we've all had trouble with Lexmark.  We had one out of five that worked.  Moved onto Hewlett Packard soon thereafter.  Hopeless!

We recently bought an Epson CX6600 - one of the all-in-ones.  Excellent machine, can't fault it at all :)
