For the life of me I cannot get rid of some of the spyware from my pc and laptop.. my works, and home PCs are goofed just now between one thing or another.

Had to buy a new one today at work just to get net access as could not get nothing to work..

I have done the bot search, ad ware , mcafee you name it.. the 180 search still gets through.

Anyone else having probs or tips they can give me?

Have you tried system restore if your using Windoze XP ? Restoring your system should get rid of it.

You could also install Spyware Blaster which stops that kind of nasty getting on your system

Also install Microsofts own spyware program, it used to be called Giant and cost money to buy, but Microsoft bought it and its free at the moment  and its very good too

Thanks Robert, sorry for the late reply.. But this is the first of me getting net access..

I have bought NoAdware as I could not get rid of it. Some of the tools on the net were making it worse. will have a good look at the link you sent but thought I would as the least acknoledge your reply seeing as you were the only one :-) thanks very much off to look at your link.

I had to buy a new lap top at work and will have to try and fix my old one next week when I have time.

Have you tried downloading the Microsoft AntiSpyware?  It's a freebie from the Microsoft website.........it found 9 on my machine that Spybot and Adware didn't!

Excellent - I have just downloaded this and it has found a couple of nasties that Adaware didn't pick up :)

I had the 180 on my system.
go to add/remove programs and uninstall 180 then open
c:/program files and delete the folder called 180
now restart your system and press F8 on options boot up in safe mode
and run adware remover. when done reboot system.

I had other spyware on my computer that only started up when internet explorer was started so you may need to remove other spyware/addware/keyloggers in the same way. write down the names and remove as many files manually then run your software.
