hi please help i am thinking of getting a dalmation. we really love the look of them but not sure about the temprement, are they good with kids. i have 4 kids, 12,10, 6 and 3. we also have a rabbit. or any other breads you could suggest.. thankyou very much.

Have a read of this article, which is very informative. They're very good with children, as long as the children are good with them! If your rabbit is kept in a secure hutch and run he should be safe.

They are good with kids and none of mine have as much as given my kids a dirty look but then my children have been brought up to respect the dogs.  Are you aware dalmatians need lots of exercise, constantly shed hair and need lots of attention.  Read the article JG suggests.  My oldest dally was brilliant with my rabbit.  If you are buying them just because they look good to be honest I would tread carefully as they are not everyones cup of tea.

if the guest is serious about wanting a dalmation they should maybe join and iam sure the dalmation lovers on this site will help were they can
