Hi
Please can anyone Point me in the direction of a Great Dane rescue? A good friend who is not on line has an 18 month old bitch who they need to rehome due to aggression with other dogs, but she has not been speyed and they are anxious if they advertise that she could end up in a puppy farm which they obviously don't want. I know it's for the foster page - looked into it myself as i love danes but my fences are about 6 inches too short

First port of call should be the breeder of the bitch. Has your friend tried to get in touch with the breeder who if reputable should take the bitch back. Sadly some don't. What part of the country does your friend staying as there are several dane rescues.

Can they remember the name of the breeder as we may be able to get the info?  If it was my dog I would want to know although I know not all breeders are the same

Do they have the pedigree - can they give us a couple of names? Sire, Dam?
