This is a genuine question, please can anyone with experience or knowledge on this subject give any advice.
There is a newish (proposed)Breed club in the U.K.
That is run by some not very nice respectable people,(Breeders)
The club has a high turnover of committee members which these said people vote in their friends.
Certain committee members of this clique also break the clubs rules and ethics of breeding females at 15-16 months old.The list is endless..
Would the kennel club be interested in this what steps can be taken to rid the rot in this breed that starts from the highest level down??.
I don,t want to mention the specific breed large breed but if i did i think the majority on here would not be at all surprised by what i am telling you.!!!

I may be wrong as I have no part in any club committee, but I was under teh imprtession that when a KC affiliated club was formed it ahd to submit a constitution and rules, and the KC encourage them to draw up a code of Ethics.  Now how this works with proposed clubs I don't know.

I think you should contact the Kennel Club with yoru concerns.

If the committee members are breaking the rules and ethics then yes I do think that they should be reported.  They'd soon be on someobodies backs if they were a member and breaking said rules.  If they flout the rules then the rest of the membership will too.  It's not a very good standing for a new "propsed" Club.  I suppose the only problem is do these rules come into place when it's a "proper" club, accepted fully by the KC?

Our breed Club is only recently fully recognised and we have sent letters to people on the membership who have bred earlier than the Club feels acceptable.  If the committee and Club membership have agreed to these codes of ethics then they should be followed.
