Is it possible to get red and white puppies from a litter of 2 red setters with no white on them, or are the red and white setters a seperate breed

It's entirely possible to get red puppies with small white markings. The most common white markings appear on the chest, and also sometimes a 'star' on the skull. Very very occasionally, rarely really, a coat pattern called 'shower of hail' where a faintly mottled appearance  shows up all over.

But no not red and white as in the markings on an Irish Red and White Setter.
