my female collie has started to eat her own and other animals poo recently, she will stop when were on walks and eat anything she finds in the grass, she is fed a good diet and is healthy. she recently had a false pregnancy could this be a cause or is it her food?

i have had a poo eater in the past and i know it`s frustrating. vets say who ever fines a cure will make a million. it could be hormonal as she would have been cleaning up after pups now. i tried putting chillie powder on it and lifting the water bowl was the vets idea. ha! she loved it. hopefully it will pass.

Two things that stopped my poo eating dogs were Bcomplex tabs and digestive enzymes, they used to scoff it down at every opportunity, especially duck poop! They havnt touched since i've started supplementing with the above 2 things :)

Your going to have to join if you want any more info ;)

I've heard a lot of people say that since they've put their dogs on Burns, they eat their poo!  All my dogs are fed this, but I haven't had the problem.

I guess some dogs just enjoy Burns so much, they eat it twice ;-)
