my friend has breed her staffy bitch with a pitbull and registered the pups as staffys she is advertising them as staffordshire pitbulls with Kc pappers i am thinking of getting one cos she offered me one for free would i be able to show it if it has Kc papers?

Unless both parents are already registered with the KC and are the same breed (ie both already registered as staffies) then the KC won't register them at all. So they won't have papers, and your friend could get into legal trouble for misrepresenting them.

The KC doesn't register crossbreeds at all.

Pitbulls are illegal...not to mention in the wrong hands dangerous. what was your friend thinking when she put theses 2 dogs together?
if she sells these she will get into serious trouble..if the law hears about this the pups will be destroyed under the DDA. no offence but does your friend know anything about dogs?

if the pups have a fake KC papers then yes you can show but do you really think that a pit x stafford would not look a little tall to show??  and it wont be long until you are found out to have a cross and you have a high chance of getting that love pet taken off you to be put to sleep

What a load of c**p....you say the pups are registered as staffordshire pittbulls!!!!!!How can the Kc register them as a breed that they don't recognise cos they don't exist....the KC only register recognised breeds or cross breeds on the working reg.

i have to agree with you archer it sounds like they  know jack s**t about dogs or they are just on the wind up i think we should all start answering guests posts telling them to join as its free and easy and if they dont join we should ignore there posts and this might make these childish pranksters stop ruining it  for every other sensible dog lover thats on this site.

its getting to the point on here you never know if the poster is genuine or just taking the mick! personally i think the latter! or at least i hope ,not another pitbull cross :rolleyes:! there seams to be quite a few of these dogs!

it me it sounds like the breeder has a litter of crosses but is getting the reg under the kc as a staffordshire bull terrier.  this is done when either the breeder has 2 Stb's 1 male and 1 female but used a cross to bred her bitch to.
if it was me i would repot her to the KC and go get your self a proper stafford

More than likely the person is lying about them being KC registered and has registed them withthe DLRC (Doglovers Registration Club) whose paperwork isn't woth the paper or the ink that it's printed on !
