All our dogs were chipped when we got them and we have these checked annually, however each time we go the chips seem to move around and are never in the place they were inserted. In one of our dogs it has actually moved to his breast bone.
The concern I have is if we did loose him and he was found would anyone bother to check in this area for his chip.
