Hi,
My Ruby (STB) is going into vets tomorrow to be spayed due to endometreosis and the high risk of pyometra however I do have another male (STB) Murphy who is neary 2 and wondering How to keep them apart for the first few days as they have never been apart and don't let each other out of each others sight for a second when we took Ruby to vets last week Murphy cried for the whole time we were away they are excellent with each other and never worried about them being left a lone together.
Any advise would be appreciated
Many Thanks
have you got a baby gate or something similar, she could be put on one side and he could be put on the other, so they would be able to see each other, however, this will need to be observed by you or another member of your family to make sure this does not increase the stress levels of being able to see each other and not being able to get to each other.
hope this helps
Sarah
