I hate to have to ask this because it's a bit gross but when I take Kobi out to do his business I have to watch to make sure he's in good health etc.. ad hasn't got the runs. I noticed over the last couple of days that his poo is fine but as he finishes he kind of squirts some clear liquid out aswell, I know this isn't a nice topic of conversation but I wanted to know what this is and is it normal?

not completely sure but it may be from his anal glands. Im pretty sure this is normal and should be happening when the dog goes to the toilet . Perhaps someone will be along soon to clarify ( or if im wrong , correct me !!)

You're right sugar, its ''anal juices'' :D Perfectly normal, in fact if they don't do this then you end up having to empty them yourself which is not a particulary nice task!!

I think this is the only place I could've asked that question. Draining them yourself does NOT sound like a pleasant task! Ick!
