I'm going to Winchester for the Easter break with my dog & wondered if anyone could suggest places for dog walking. preferably nowhere near water, he's a springer!

One of the best places around Winchester is a place known as Farley Mount.   It has a historic monument and miles and miles of woodland walks.  I'm hopeless  at directions so I can't advice you how exactly to find the place but it's very well known locally, I think it's probably National Trust so local tourist guides and local people will all know how to find it.
