>Shes not very affectionate towards anyone but myself and my mum (who takes her for runs now and then)<
- does Abbie only get taken out *for runs now and then* as a general rule or do you mean that she's normally regularly exercised by you but occasionally by your mum also?>wasn't sure if its her diet doing this or just her age (10), but she used to be more than active<
>Has Abbie's behaviour / personality only changed recently? There could be an underlying medical condition if that's the case so she would be better to be checked by a vet to rule out any problems.<
>Sorry - I don't know if I'm picking the above up correctly - does Abbie only get taken out *for runs now and then* as a general rule or do you mean that she's normally regularly exercised by you but occasionally by your mum also?<
>Have you recently changed her diet or noticed her having GI problems? 10 is not ancient for a GSD although obviously all dogs slow down a little with the ageing process - just like us - so can become less active. However I've found that my older dogs are still very energetic - even if only in shorter bursts. Can you provide a bit more info and then hopefully you will get more advice? Regards, Teri <
>GI? whats that?<
