Well, the time has come, I leave college in June so am on the look for a job :eek:!! Have already found a few which might be goo so am busing trying to write out a decent CV :)
Does anyone know a good template, have had a look about but can't find one that looks right, they really should teach us this kind of stuff :D

Hi Emily,

Do you have Microsoft Word on your pc?  There are a few templates contained in that.  Also in Publisher if you have it - although personally I think the Word ones look more professional.

Apologies if you don't have access to either of these two :(  Just an idea ...

Hi again :)

Open Word, New Document, New from Template, click on "general templates", click on "other documents", there are then three types of CVs available, "contemporary", "elegant" and "professional" (although they call them "resumes") plus there is a wizard if you want it :)

There is a very good book called "The Perfect CV - How to get the job you really want" by Tom Jackson and Ellen Jackson.
