I just lost me second Skip which I loved for 15 1/2 years.  I am looking for a small young female puppy to buy or adopt.

My husband and I are in our 50's. We live in Morgan Hill, CA and have a big fenced yard and 3 cats who loved Puppy.

We have 6 grandchildren; the youngest is 10.  We own an Island in the Sacramento area and we travel to and from by boat.
Our skips have always worn life jackets.

We would be great parents.  My husband has his heart set on a very young dog.  We would like a tiny dog.  Puppy was 16#s and was almost too heavy for me to carry for long

Hi Susan, this is a mostly UK board so we don't tend to have access to many dog shelters close to you :) If a Skip is a pedigree (purebred) type, then you can always check out the AKC for links to breeders in your area
