OK I don't often ask questions but could really do with advice from those who have bred ....... I was talking to a stud dog owner friend yesterday who was telling me about a girl who came to visit to be mated she told me that she couldn't be mated because when she examined the girl she had a stritcure.....now I know roughly what it is but does anyone have any more info or experience of this ....I assume if the bitch isn't checked the owner wouldn't know until the time of the mating ?

Yes thats usually when it`s found Inca & if the dog doesn`t break it then a trip to vet :) These sites call it persistent hymen but from what I`ve heard it`s been broken by the stud.
