hiya

my pup arrived just over a week ago, was fine at first, then developed the runs, i put him on chicken & boiled rice, he went to the vets on monday, she said he was fine in himself and to carry on with the chicken & rice, he was then wormed on monday and still has the runs (now for about 4 days) it is now 'grainy' i am sure this is a sign of the wormer working, but i just need reassurance.

Many thanks

The grains could be partly undigested rice - was it thoroughly overcooked so it was really soggy? One of mine passes grainy poo after she's had rice which was cooked how I like to eat it!

it was cooked um, not hard but not really soggy lol.

For Beetle I need to do it really, really gloopy and gluey - any trace of texture in the middle of the grain won't be digested.

Yes, it concerned me too when I first noticed it!
