I would like to import american staffordshire (not a pitbull) from the US and was wondering what the law say about this?
I know pitbull illegal but DDA says nothing about american staffs, has anyone breeding these in the UK and how successfull were they importing them? money not a problem, just want to make sure paperwork and everything is above board, help appreciated

If you do a search on Am Staff in the Champdogs search, you'll find plenty of info on the current standing of Am Staffs (aka pitbull types)

I'm afraid that the law considers American Staffs to be of pitbull type, and so they are illegal. Even many US breeders register them as being both breeds. Standard.
