MY GSD is a 22 month bitch who wrecks our bed whenever she is left in the house. If i go out and leave her she is fine and dosent wreck the bed. If my wife goes out and leaves just to take the kids to school that seems to be when she wrecks the bed. Once she urinated on the bed when she was left.(after being let out before my wife left her). We always leave the television on in the bedroom for her. She has her own basket in our bedroom where she sleeps at night. She has toys littered around the house which she happily plays with when we are home. She does like to destroy any toy that has stuffing in them.
Any ideas please.

Close the bedroom door - only allow her in there when you are there!

It's possible it's a form of separation anxiety because the beds would hold a lot of human scent which she would find comforting. It may help to contact a reputable behaviourist if shutting doors etc doesn't work (sometimes an anxious dog will transfer its behaviour or start a different behaviour eg chewing the skirting board or attacking the sofa!).
