Archer, thanks for the reply about our Staff, you seem to know what you are talking about, could you point me in the right direction with food etc, we want the best for him and would like to know the best foods for an 8 month old, we went for the dry food really as he was never interested in the food that the breeders had him on, being tripe, and to be honest i was not to keen either. The bakers seemed an easy food for him which he loves but i totally understand what you are saying.

Hi guest
If you want to use a complete then you could try Autarky(available in most Tesco) or Burns. Both are free of additives etc and contain a higher meat percentage..Please join...its free....and I'll try and find the website for the foods.
You are more than welcome by the way..we love to help!

I use burns for my staff and its great, she is lean and muscular unlike most of the fat flabby staffs that live round my way. to make it a bit more interesting she often gets meat mixed in with it which is usually raw and raw chicken wings etc. theres loads about RAW feeding on the board but its a matter of personal choice. I've found that the vets don't try to sell me the food they stock after I told them what I feed my girl so it must be good. at 8 months your dog can go onto adult burns but they are really helpful at the company if you have any questions
