please can anyone help me. After long consideration and many hours of study i decided that a dogue de bordeaux was the right dog for me and my family. So i went along to what i thought was the best show kennels in this country. I came away with a beutiful dogue. I was so happy with our new family pet.
As time went by i noticed my dogue was having increasing problems getting up or walking to my local shop. i took him to the vets where i was told after a thorough examination that my lovely dogue had servere hip displacia. I later found out through my own investigation that both mother and father were not hip scored. I was told that they where! and maybee being a bit gullable i belived it.
I am going to spend what ever it takes to help my dogue but what can i  do about this super show kennel. Sureley they can't get away with this please help

If they state that the mother and father were hip scored and later you found out that they weren't you may have a good case, even so they could have had really good scores but occ. produce high scoring pups.  I'm sure that someone will be able to help you, but unfortunately this is a well known problem with this breed.
