Did anyone else fall in love with Speedy on last night's Crufts's highlights? I think he was some sort of terrier, doing obedience. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, I could've watched him all day!

He is a cairn terrier who is FCI Obedience Champion however in the FCI Obedience their exercises are totally different & he is a little star. He does Flyball as well in Switzerland I had the privilege to shake paws with him & had a lovely chat with his owner/handler who throughly enjoyed hersefl & so did Speedy. BTW they only ever compete outside in FCI Obedience so working in the Main Areana is not as easy as it looks. Sadly I failed to lure him away from his mum

i was there! & he was as "cool" in the fleash. everybody was willing him to do well! did a cracking scent at the end!!!!

His owner was telling me she had train him from scratch to do the A scent as they do scent on wood blocks ! & their directed retrieve is different in that they have two cones at each end & then the three dumbells & they never bring the middle one

aww, he did really well then. To be honest I was well impressed that he got over the fence to retrieve the dumbell because he didn't look like he could make it. He had bags of personality, what a star! I hope he comes back next year.

It was priceless the way he looked at the audience as if making sure they were all paying attention :D The star of the show!

Yes he was absolutely adorable! A beautiful dog - what Crufts is all about

my kids have been talking about him ever since! they loved him!!!

Yes such a sweetie nobody was making him do anything he didnt want to.
