was wondering if any one else has come across any dlrc pedigrees that have proved to be false.have recently seen pedigree of a dog, which i no both parents died a while before this pup was even born.
Thats wot you get with the DLRC they will print any ped you send them thats why KC papers are still and always will be the best.
Most dogs reg with DLRC are puppy or pet bred puppys.

I can go one better lady came with a westie whose father had won BIS at Crufts(ahem called Tommy Gun)& whose mother was Tracey of Ware(I think she was a cocker ?) The rest of the pedigree was pet names only !-mind you the only think that she resembled a Westie in was she was white !

Yep, Tommy Gun was a standard poodle and Tracey Witch of Ware was a cocker!
IMO Those "pedigrees" by their very being are false, as they are whatever the person who pays for them to be produced wishes them to be. There are no checks, dlrc is not a registering body and will not share information. They are solely a money making concern for the benefit of themselves and breeders who wish to dupe their puppy buyers into thinking they are getting more than they actually are

I think a complaint to Trading Standards for false advertising should be lodged to close this shoiwer down.
As I think both Tommy gun and Tracy Witch ar long dead and of different breeds it could easily be proved.

But all they as dealers would say is that the pedigree has a warning on it re only having the brreders word for it & the pedigree was from the breeder
