hi  i have just bought a beautifiul puppie but on his second visit to my vet at 11 weeks old they told me that one of his testicles had not dropped.Should i wait or get in touch with the breeder.mark

It can take up to 6 months for his other testicle to drop. I would just keep an eye on it and at his 6 month of age check up and worming visit to the vet have it checked again.

hi,the breeder should have informed you he only has one testicle,if hes just a pet then you dont really need to worry but if hes for showing then i would let the breeder know

>>> if hes just a pet then you dont really need to worry<<<

Isnt there a health issue though ?

Yes there is Lel, this pup should be neutered when old enough as undecended testicles can lead to cancer and torsion within the retained testicle.

To be accurate, only the retained testicle need be removed. The normal one can be left in situ for the dog to develop normally.
