Could anyone recommend a holiday region in the UK where my Dalmation & westie would be welcome? I know it sounds an odd question, but when I lived in Swansea dogs were not allowed on the beach from May until September and that is exactly the time when I would want my dogs to be able to go on the beach. Last year we went to Lyme Regis and that was very dog friendly, but we would like to go somewhere else this year. All recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

North Cornwall. The beaches around the Padstow/Newquay area are very dog-friendly.

thats great thanks Jeangenie!

Northumbria is very dog friendly - both beaches and pubs. The scenery is spectacular and unspoilt by tourism.
