We have happily owned bulldogs ("English") for almost thirty years, several of them living into their teens.  We have usually had two at a time.  We now have a single male (small but very "bouncy" for the breed) who needs a buddy. We are thinking of a female from the mastiff family but are unsure of compatibility.  Bently is very outgoing and loves other dogs as well as our several cats.  We are use to drool, flatulence, shedding and a stubborn but sensitive temperment all of which appear to run in the mastiff breeds.  Does anyone have an idea as to whether a bullmastiff, a corso, or an English mastiff would be a better mix with Ben?
