She is indeed a Norfolk & was very successful with her breeder here before she went to the states

Dont they have quite small litters aswell.
Why not contact a breed club, I believe there is one in Aylesbury.

They usually have twos & threes & I hope this post wasn't as a result of Crufts coverage

Guest, if you're prepared to wait for a puppy  (and you're almost certainly going to have to) contact the breed clubs listed here who can put you in touch with breeders.

Skyes like a lot of dog are usually around £500 + I would think. A lot of the breeds in the terrier group are sparse on the ground A lady who used to breed tham always had a lot of people waiting They are beautiful dogs but can be very terrier in their ways & their coats need quite a lot of upkeep. I was camping once at SKC & a ladies young bitch escaped & came visiting my Beardies. LOL she was in a right state & due in the ring I had toe honour of doing her parting on my grooming table & she ended up BOB over a few champions much to her very shocked owners delight Shall I say we celebrated well that night ;)

how would you describe beardies as a breed? ive noticed quite a few people have them on here! x
- By Moonmaiden Date 11.03.05 17:35 UTC
Depends on how they are bred & raised My friend who still has them got her first one from me & she still has the same laid back temperaments mine had but others have very much OTT temperaments ! There are some I would avoid like the plague & a local owner who has bred a litter has never been able to groom his own dogs & I've seen his dogs nip him & go for other dogs mainly because they are not trained properly & because he thinks they should be like that !
