ARRRRGGHHHHH! Help before the pc goes out the window.  I've done some artwork/logo's using Microsoft office/Word on hubby's home pc. When I try to send, it goes via his work lotus notes. When email received I cannot open document. Am I missing the obvious?  Hubby is not here too nag. It's my Crufts logo's so need to get transfers printed asap. Help will be hugely appreciated. :)

Are you using the same version of Word in both places ? If you save a Word document in a new version of Word, you can't open it in an older version. You have to save it in the older version first.

Don't know if that is the problem :)

The designs are sent from Word/Office 2003 into a hotmail account. I'm going to try saving as office '97....

If that doesn't work, try saving as a Rich Text doc. instead of Word.

Arrgh! It looked godd Daisy. The Email size was considerably larger...it seemed to be opening then the same message appeared  "Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"

Are you getting this message whilst trying to open it from the hotmail account? Also, are you sending and checking the document on the same PC?

Yes the message appears whilst trying to open from hotmail. Yes being sent via OH lotus notes to my hotmail on same pc.......

Since installing update of hotmail it won't let me attach pics anymore either. It says I need to install but when I try it keeps saying page must be refreshed and install fails?

Its a problem with your hotmail account then (as there's no reason you shouldnt be able to open it on the same machine it originated from), why don't you sign up for Yahoo or another free email provider and send it via that?

I'll try sending it to one of my other email addies, it's just habit to use hotmail as it pops up automatically when you log on.
