i am fairly new to champdogs and their are alot of good people on here but also a lot of people just out to cause trouble surely admin can and should ban them its very clear who they are it just ruins it for people wanting advice and all they get back is nasty comments.its getting annoying but im sure thease people are just trying to do that .are they dog owners if so i hope the phase dogs are like their owners isnt true cause that would mean their are a lot of bitchy dogs out their.

I think it is preferably to report a particular post that you think contravenes the TOS rather than an individual.  In my experience Admin always take notice and at least give it consideration that way the personal angle is kept out of it.  Who knows, if a poster is pulled up over a particular post they may modify their atitudes to the point that they can continue contributing to discussion in a manner acceptable to all but I'm also sure that if it happened repeatedly Admin would take action on the individual.  Alltogether, it seems to me, that sort of course of action would save the board from the kind of tediously personal issues we have seen covered today :)

Hi Maysea,

I think there's been enough controversy for one day :(   and I've pm'd you regarding one of your own posts .....
As Isabel quite rightly says, Admin can deal with things if and when necessary.

Regards, Teri

Im really not enjoying posting on here anymore or even reading posts, and b4 someone says well dont come on then, im off !!
- By susantwenty? [gb] Date 08.03.05 19:06 UTC
Sarstaff it's sad that you feel that way, the first time i came on this web page people where rude, i think it's because there sitting behind a computor and not face to face with you, dont let them bother you, there obviously sad and twisted.  Keep asking questions some people are really nice and give you good advice dont be put off by obnoxious people.

At the end of the day the more you read through posts, the more you come to know what to expect of certain people. Most people are okay, it's only the odd one that repeatedly spoil things. You just learn to ignore it...as you say it's easy to be brave when you're not face to face. The informative posts are worth sticking around for. :)

teri this post isnt to stir trouble i was just wondering how admin deals with posters arguments that always seem to be the same people.
- By rose [au] Date 09.03.05 11:37 UTC
Maysea, some posters will NEVER get along or agree and yes, sometimes their posts to eachother will be tinged with a little sarcasm, and debates will erupt every now and then. But when you look at the BIG picture these dont happen all that often,or not often enough to warrant a thread such as this one ;) You dont have to read a thread if you dont like it!And i think it is a little harsh of you to suggest people should get banned because they dont agree or debate :( I told you all of this in the pm i sent you,but as you asked me to post on the public board, here it is :)

I'm sorry maysea, but this has already been addressed on the "other" thread, I cant think of any other reason of why you had to start a whole new thread but to stir the pot even more!

You could have easily e-mailed admin and asked this question, afterall they are the only ones who can answer your query correctly :)

that was most certainly not the pm you sent to me rose your pm was rude and offensive with added bad language i am not going to fuel your fire argue with yourself rose.
- By rose [au] Date 09.03.05 11:47 UTC
Just for the record, the bad language was one word, which was sh*tstirrer

No probs maysea,i've said my peace,i wont post on your thread anymore :) I'm not going to fuel YOUR fire :)

If you don't have anything nice to say or cannot contribute without niggling eachother, then why bother posting at all?!  Come on, surely you have better things to do, let's not entertain the "guests" any more with senseless banter!  :D

Im still here too!dont post much as havent got the experience to give good advice, thats why I read all the posts.I ignore all the disagreements and just smile, after all we all know how easy it can be to miscontrue text.I just think that the board has alot of characters on it, and we are all protective and touchy when it comes to our own dogs. After all as someone said to me <if you dont like the answer dont ask the question>..............I readily welcome ALL advice and from there I can make well informed decisions.
