My Mum always used to say 'I want doesn't get'..........  Bet you don't get a 'thank you' ;)

Yes, I thought this post could have been phrased a little less demanding. I would NOT have responded to it! If people want help the least they can be is polite.

What you mean you don't sit here all day at peoples beck and call for the good of your health ;-))
- By Emily Rose [gb] Date 07.03.05 12:25 UTC
Oh well, I won't bother next time then :D
Was in a good mood so thought I would help, was trying to seem nice and friendly-like we try to make this board seem....Sometimes :D

PS Ithink sometimes guests phrase their questions in certain ways because they have not seen the actual board so therefore are not sure how it works and think they are better to write as little as poss rather than reems, and sometimes soem people do write reems and reems but thats fine too :)

Hi Emily Rose,

It's nice to be nice ;)  It's possible for eg that the Guest may not have English as his/her first language ...... benefit of the doubt and all that :)

Regards, Teri

It possible Teri but I find most who's first language is not English are usually the politest. A "Please" and "Thank you" cost nothing at all.

Regards, John
