My hubby is a landscape gardener and was working at the other side of town on Saturday, as he was on the main road he kept his back doors shut for all of the day barring about 5 minutes when he was back and forward getting his tools together. He came home and we spent the rest of the day out in my car. On sunday he was away to take my five monsters out for a run and said he would take the van so would go and empty it. He was removing some bags whe a cat threw itself over the divider and into the front [he has a transit van] . He came running into the house asking how our tabby at had got out and into the van only to find our two sound asleep on the cat gym. Turns out this silly boy had jumped into the van and had been stuck in it since the dinner time on Saturday. He was really hungry and thirsty but so friendly although we kept him in  our pet carrier for safety as he could have any disease. One of my hubbies customers works for the cats protection so she came and took the poor thing away , but it has no microchip. He phoned the customer to see if she knew of the cat and she says she has seen it before on her back wall but has no idea who owns it so for now he is safe and warm with them. Hope we can find his owners but they havent reported him missing.
The other thing is the van is stinking because he had relieved himself all over the back and all over the front seat.  Can you imagine if the dogs had got there before us!!!

Even worse the poor cat it seems had actually been in his van for two nights as he has found his owners and they live beside where Eric was working on Friday.  His owners are going down today to pick up Gizzy. Have any of you ever had an animal do that????

Only when dad left the sun roof open years ago and the neighbours cat thought the car looked like a nice place to nap. Dad hated cats, so when he got halfway down the road and the cat decided to introduce himself you can imagine the scene. Fortunately he turned round and came home before opening the door. Not sure who was more traumatised the cat or dad!
