Do either of these breeds need any tests such as eyes or hips before breeding. I know of people who own both breeds wanting to breed from them.

That is rubbish they both need Hip Scoring at the very least.  Maybe they say this as they don't fancy forking out roughtly £200 and then perhaps finding the results too poor to contemplate breeding.

Frankly if they ahve so little knowledge they should learn a lot more about dogs in general and their breeds in particular before contemplating helping to create new lives.

Wolfies should have a clear heart I think & the Dobe the VW test Wolfies also have Liver problems don't they

Wolfies need testing for liver shunt

and Wolfhound pups also need testing for liver shunt before they leave the breeder
