Hi there! I am wondering if you clever champdoggers can help me find something.
I am after a leather show lead but a certain style. Its rolled leather with a sliding leather tightener but it also has a little metal bit where the loop begins so that the dog can turn around and the bit with the dog head in twists but the rest of the lead doesn't. If anyone can understand my post and has one of these leads please can you tell me where you got one from as I am desperate!! They are really good and they are the only show leads that hold my friend's adult boy wheaten and she has had hers for about five years and she said you find it really hard to get one. Im going to have a look at crufts but I would like to know of a company that makes them.  Please help!!!!

Sarah, I have just had two of these made al;ready this year by accolade leather who I highly recormend!  TEll him exactly what you want and he will do it :)  My two have been made to orders.  the first came within 4 days, the second took abit longer but he did say it would due to him being busy or something.  BUt he still got it done by he said he would and did offer to get it quicker if i needed it! #

Edit to say, sorry my leads wern't like what you wanted, they were slip insted but still with a twizzle!! :)

I looked at the martingale leads but the are not what i was after but thanks for the link. What i am after is a lead that you show terriers on but that is all made of leather. Can anyone help?

Did you look at both sites ? if you look at the first site & click on the show sets there is some thing there that looks very much like what you describe

LOL My friend uses one on her Border Terrier who she win her first CC with last year whilst I think her dog was still in puppy :O she was gobsmacked ! especially nice as she bred him herself

The other person who made them at the show I have to say I paid for one and am still waiting ( 3 month) . This guy did mine in a couple weeks.

The one I use ( westies) sounds the same. Mine can turn in this and there is a little push ring to tighten and slacken ( when stacking etc)

There are 2 people that do them.. One goes to the shows but is a bit dearer the other used to go to all the shows now doesn't but still makes them at home.
