Is it me or do other people get irritated when they recieve emails that say "have you got a puppy and how much?". Nothing more. Even when I got Purdy and I am the first to admit I was not the greatest informed buyer I asked about what conditions she was raised, was she hearing tested, her pedigree and so on then eventually I got to the price. Half of them dont even bother signing.
Sorry to blast off but I have had 5 of these today.

I get them & I don't even breed. I usually forward them to the breeder I use. My experience is that mal folk like nothing better than to talk about their dogs :) It's nice to be able to help 'genuine' people. As for time wasters, it's quicker to delete than type ;)
There was one that came from Denmark that I was warned about, apparently if you replied you got bombarded with junk mail.

LOL I have to laugh I stress on my dogs site that I do not have any bitches, but I get stacks of e mails asking me when I will be breeding from my dogs & asking to book a puppy from my next litter ! Hm they would be very valuable as it would be a first two male dogs being mated together
Then sadly I get a answerphone message left like one today asking if I had any white alsatians in thet I could swop for a pair of GSDs he had as he now wanted to breed the longcoated GSD variety Needless to say the message was deleted & the phone number noted

Your details might be on a popular site somewhere or they might be listed in a show schedule....or maybe it's because you're dogs are top quality. :)
Just delete and block the silly ones and save the others in a file so you can see who is genuinely interested in your dogs.

I had this one the other day from someone who made a point of saying they were English & gave me a web site (which I haven't visited). I haven't replied either, I don't sell my pets. only the occasional puppy.
"I'm interested in purchasing your pet ........... So forward your datas to prepare the payment. i.e
1- your name to issue the payment.
2- full contact address
3- zipe code
4- tel phone number.
Treat this as matter of urgency and get back to me with all informations within your knowledge"

Youll love this one... not.
One of the people who bought a pup off me contacted me asking if they could have another pup off my next litter and would swap it for the pup they had previously bought , why , because we now know the mistakes we have mede with this one and wont do it again with the new pup. arrrghh I imediately asked to buy him back for the full price paid however they wont, "we love him , its just.." I see one of them quite regularly and keep asking all the time , one day I hope my boy will be home. you can give all the advice in the world to people and believe me I have till im blue in the face however you cant make them take it. One day

OMG some ppl

I don't breed but get plenty of those emails. I have a form email that I send which includes the names, affixes and webpage addresses of several of the top breeders in Malamutes. There is also general (hopefully helpful) advice about buying a Malamute puppy including how to be wary of puppy farmers ;)
Because I have the email saved, it only takes a few seconds to change the name of the addressee at the top and then send it :)
